After the FSU game, the OKC game, the UCF game, the Falcons game and the UCONN game:

I haven't scored with a potential of $400
tsut has $3000 with a potential of $8000
raiders hasn't scored with a potential of $4500
hookem has $1800 with a potential of $3275
pola has $8000 with a potential of $10000
mb has $5000 with a potential of $6000

So, pola has beaten everyone but tsut, and tsut would need Air Force to stage an unprecedented comeback and have Washington come back and cover Indiana to win

With completion of the NO/Atl game it will be between Pola and tsut:

Tsut needs Air Force and Chicago to cover while Indiana must not, otherwise Pola will get it.

With Air Force down 17 at the half and Indiana up 17 with 8 minutes to go, not looking great for tsut.

Regardless votes will be due by 8pm tomorrow night.

For anyone watching the real show.  What do you think?

I'm rooting for Tyson and Ciera!

Or maybe I should say:  "The coconut banditos"

Well, my friends and I play fantasy Survivor and have since season 1.

The players I have left on my team are Hayden (first overall pick), Katie (my second round pick) and Tyson (who I got in the fourth round)

So, from that standpoint, I am cheering for those three, because I almost never win of the four of us, only winning on Survivor 5 with Brian, Natalie when she got carried by Evil Russell and by having the first pick in Boston Rob's season.

I also had Brad Culpepper and Kat this year, though I didn't expect Kat to have a prayer (or Tyson for that matter since he generally just screws with people, but I had him the other two times he was on to).

From a game-play standpoint, I think that Caleb is playing the best game. Tyson is a little too strong at times, and I think it is going to bite him at some point.

Hayden is as good as I expected him to be. Always in the numbers, but never obviously the target. I watched him and the Brigade dominate Big Brother so this doesn't surprise me.

Ciera has a good shot if she makes it to the final three and her mom is on the jury. I suppose that is true of Vytas, Katie, Tina and Laura as well, but three of those are already on redemption.

Pola officially has immunity, get your votes in.

Steve has the top 5 challenge, my guess is it will be up sometime today.

Challenge 23 - Blind Auction to Pick Winners

Congrats to whichever of you make it to the final five!  Blind auctions have been sort of a sub-theme this season.  By now you've probably got your strategy for bidding down pat.  I sure hope so, for your sake, because immunity in the final five is up for grabs!

Each of you has 1000 points to bid with. You can bid on any of the NFL, NBA, NHL, Top 25 NCAA Football and Top 25 NCAA Men's Basketball games, scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday (at least one of the teams in the NCAA games has to be in the top 25 of the current AP or USA Today Coaches polls). You can bid on as many (or as few) games as you want.  For each game you bid on, you have to pick a winner, straight up (no spread).  Note:  You have to bid at least 1 point to win a bid for a game.  Bidding 0 has no effect.

For each game you win the bid on, IF you pick the correct winning team, you get 2 points for each NFL/NBA/NHL game you get right and 1 point for each NCAA game you get right. If it's an NCAA game and both teams are in at least one of the T25 polls, you will get 2 points for picking that game correct.  There is no penalty for picking games incorrectly, you will just get 0 points for that game.

Each of you must sitemail me your list of bids and winners by noon ET on Saturday.  In case of a tie on the highest bid for a game, the tiebreaker will be whoever sent me their bids first.

Highest total points wins and there is no advantage for winning the previous challenge.

TB1: Most NFL wins
TB2: Most NBA wins
TB3: Most NHL wins
TB4: Most combined NCAA wins
TB5: Order received

Good Luck!

As a side note to Steve's challenge, how you finish in the challenge will relate directly to the top 4 challenge coming up next.
11/22/2013 5:49 PM
So we could have as many games as we get in bidding ?
11/22/2013 5:53 PM
Yes, the more games you win the bid on, the more chances you will have to score points.  In other words, I'd rather win the bid on 25 games and get half of them right, than win the bid on 10 games and get all of them right.
11/22/2013 5:59 PM
FYI, I only received 5 of the 6 votes.

I'm going to give another 10 minutes until 8:35 cause I'm a nice guy, but then I'll officially close the voting.

11/22/2013 8:27 PM
Just as a heads up for my challenge (and I'll edit that post to reflect this), bidding 0 on games won't get you the bid.  You have to bid at least 1 point to win a bid.
