Thanks. I've had success with MJ and LBJ in the backcourt (they've been drafted, so thats ok to mention, yes?)...This is sort of the poor mans version of that, I guess.

I know I am supposed to do some evals, but I will warn you guys I don't have the time.  There are folks that enjoy it and are better at it who will do just fine!  

Some of these back courts are terrifying, BUT I must add that it is a long way back down the draft.  Will there be enough bigs left to fill demand?  

Beachcomber (or whoever that really is)  is my early favorite.  Hope he can afford enough minutes.

I'm going with a strategy that has been successful for me in the past. I'll be waiting a long while for another pick, but I'm NOT not saying that THAT plays directly (directly) into my hands.

If smokey doesn't put up the complete schedule I am going to be VERY ******.  He is doing this schedule day to day thing and fails to realize some of us actually have to schedule these things so we know when we are drafting.

I am not sure I can get on here tomorrow before 2 PM.  I have a crazy day, and I am not turning in a proxy list with 7 names on it.

Smokey, if you see this put up a schedule for the entire draft please.

yes, complete schedule should be put up at least one day in advance of going on the clock.

doesn't smokey have a computer issue... i think he's only operating with a hand-held... schedule might be a reach. we'll just have to do without for a while. if i had the time i would make a schedule but i'm up to my eyeballs with work. speaking of which....

Ok folks if you needed a complete schedule, it would have helped if you mentioned it in the draft thread. Maybe when I was putting the draft together would have helped. I was not aware that the schedule did not advace to the next pick each day. I will give you a full schedule on page 1 of the draft post today.

no worries, smokey.  It's just considerate to have the schedule posted the day before going on the clock.  You gotta give everyone a 24-hour notice that the clock is on.  Not fair if say, scud was picking second, logged on at 9pm, didn't see a schedule, then at 10pm you made the schedule and had him drafting at 9am.  What if he didn't log back on until noon the next day?  He'd been skipped and it would not have been right.

Just a good practice to say, "draft at any point, we're going on the clock at <insert date here>" in both a forum post and a league sitemail.

money rounds, 3 and 4... as felonius once said (para-phrasing), "the third round pick defines who your team is." something along those lines

let's put it this way - if by round 3 you are not on plan you're probably looking at a long season ahead

not using duncan's 97-98 season (54% fg) because of his low usage, high t.o.'s, low ast% and poor free throw shooting. also not using marques's 77-78 season (higher rebounding %'s). i really like his top money season and his 55% fg (2007 pts) @26% usage to give me 2 formidable scorers. i still have options with russell, whether it's his 90 def season (11.1% usage), or his 70+ def seasons with stronger rebounding and ast%'s. still thinking...

i do know who one my guards will be... let's see if he's still available (7 picks away). imo, i think i have come close to drafting the "best" available player from the player pool at the 21st draft position. on the down side, i have thought the same thing with previous teams  : /
