No one said it's not. It would be vetoed because one team would get $120.8M and the rest of us have $120.

Take the cash out by adjussting for it in Round 25 and I'll bet it passes in a landslide.

personally, i wouldnt bother trying to announce pre-season trades anyway, since the rules say in season trades only

If both teams can make the playerswap and stay under 120mil, then voila, have at it, but a transfer of funds giving one team over 120 mil to spend will never be approved, and is against the spirit of the in season trades only rule

We did it last yr...There was a lot of back/forth, and we each made a 2nd pick for the other owner to make the salaries equal...Not that tough to do...

This is how you make a trade that doesn't bring fear of a veto; or one team can budget to be under by $800K so no cash is needed. If both teams will be under $120M at the end of the draft and after the trade it no doubt goes through.

Alright, this isn't official but WE WILL CHANGE THE TRADE TO NOT INCLUDE THE EXTRA 8K!!!! THIS MEANS THAT THE TRADE IS GOOOOODDDDD

this is why we should trade before the season. the cap is the great equalizer. trades made before the season force the owners to stay under the cap. the trade will not be submitted until after the season and I am only going to draft a team for 119.2 milllion to make it work. if you guys are going to veto the trade, please say so because I will just draft another outfielder so my team wont be ruined when i cant make a trade.

sounds good vindex, i will not veto.

and you do make a good point.  as close as we all try to get to the cap during the draft, trading during the season for equal value and salary will be very difficult.

very honestly, if I were the Uno god, I'd have no trades.
