Interesting league concept.  Reminds me of toddledoc's one a few years back.

If I understand this correctly, a player once he is "born" into this league, he progress through his career skipping over injury and military service seasons.

How are players you draft handled through the duration of his career ?

Example Pete Rose's 1st WIS season is 1963 and that he's eligible to be drafted for the first season of this progressive.

If I decide draft him, must he be on my 25 man roster for the season I draft him and future seasons beyond that ?

Do I have Rose for the entire progressive once drafted  or must I decide to cut him if I do not plan to use him for the 2nd season in his WIS career (1964) ?

If cut, does he go back into the draft pool for the next progressive season ?

Players that are cut will be placed back in the draft pool. If a player is not drafted he will "age" one more season. For example if you drafted Rose in 1963 and cut him he would go into the pool and be eligible for his 1964 season. If no one drafted him he would be in the pool and be eligible for his 1965 the following year.
In order to keep a player they must be on your 25 man roster.

Another question:

When we draft a player, do we have to start him on his rookie season or can we select his start season ?  I would assume he would progress after the owner selected the player's.  start season.

Example:  If I draft Pete Rose must you use his 1963 season or can you fast forward to 1969 and progress after that ?

Players will need to start with their 1st WIS season. I will have AAA for the first few seasons but hope to either eliminate it or have real life players for AAA in the future
