This post has a rating of , which is below the default threshold.
If the Cards can get by those pesky Pirates and the Dodgers can whoop up on the Braves, a Cardinals-Dodgers NLCS would be a great match-up.  The Cards have the edge in Offense but the Dodgers definitely have the edge in Pitching.  Should be a great, 7-game series.

If the Cards can't get past the Pirates, I'd love to see the Bucco's go all the way.  The long-suffering fans of Pittsburgh deserve a winner after all of these years of suffering.

Francona in Boston is the best possible story line.....

An Oakland-Pittsburgh World Series would be a huge ratings hit!

If that happens.  I would go MIA for a week.

Bye Cleveland...

As a hardcore Tiger fan I've got to be the first to say that I won't be surprised if the series against the A's goes a sweep either way or if it goes a full five. The A's are tuff and the Tiger bats go silent a little too often for my liking. I do, however, think Detroit has the best starting staff going. Scherzer, Verlander, Sanchez will be tuff for ANYONE to beat. Detroit just might not score enough to win if the opposition pitching is good enuff.
