Thanks, man.  I think everything will be alright, but need to make sure.

The first batch of grades is posted, as rosters fill out.

steelers, it looks like I was assuming different seasons for Horford and Diaw than you're using.  Your case for Horford and Diaw makes sense.

Fellas, sorry I'm running behind on the evals.  They're well underway, but my wife is headed into heart surgery this morning so I'll need to catch up on them whenever I can.

My thoughts and prayers for her speedy recovery, LTB.

Don't worry about evals, man.  Your wife needs you more than we do.  Though sometimes a distraction can be good, do whatever you need to do for you & for her, man.  I'm sure everyone understands (and if they don't, none of us care that they don't).

Positive thoughts your way brad-

Regarding my usage heavy team;)  The last time I tried a 3 headed monster it worked out for an ODL ring.  But that was back in 2010 I think.  Kobe and CP3 will devour any weak backcourts and most good ones.  While the good defender is focused on Kobe, I think Paul will go off assisted literally by Odom's passing skills as well as Bean's.
I have a huge 19% usage in the SL.  But when you consider that 115 to 120 ppg is very possible, I will be right at that threshold.  I also didn't need to draft any usage off the bench.  I have over 2500 assists and 4700 rebounds in 20.2k mins.
Obviously defense is not stellar but we've seen what the likes of Nash can accomplish here.  Tyson Chandler would have been a better choice over McAdoo I think, but Dalembert and Ericka make up for MCA's relative board weakness.  I should hit about 500 3's..enough to keep defenders honest.

I'll be praying for you and your wife LTB. Family comes first.

Just curious since you are the current Champ and Division winner last season if you will pick my squad for your division? Keep in mind that last season I picked your team to be in my division and that worked out pretty well for you didn't it LOL!

I know that my teams defense is too low overall but the offense is awesome and the fouls and turnovers are pretty good. Can this unit be a 50 game winner or are they a 6th playoff seed at best?

My families thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife LTB.  Please know we care about you and your entire family.

Huge thanks, everyone.  Things on the homefront are on the upswing.

And the overdue evals are now posted on page 1.

I feel the need to explain myself with my first round pick and how that related to the rest of my draft...not that anyone cares, but I just felt the need.

Durant vs. Shaq

So...I often draft a big guy in the first round (with the exception of drafting Wade in either this or ODL recently).  I feel like I have been neglecting the backcourt in favor of a strong frontcourt and I don't think that has been exceptionally wise.  Plus I wanted someone else and Durant is a lot of fun.  This time I wanted to shore up the rebounding I would lose with Durant with Williams and then snag a solid PG before the crazy run on PGs started.  Little did I know that The Glove would be sitting there in the third.  Once that happened it was about making a strong 7 man rotation that would allow me to have a couple of extra minutes to cover for fouls issues with Buck.  Plus I wanted to see what 10K+ points in this league would look like even though the D issues with Murphy.  Once I made the choice to draft Durant I kinda knew (unless something weird happened and an obvious guy wasn't taken) that I was taking Bells in the fourth.  He would keep people from hammering me on D from distance and he can rebound and play mediocre D while eating a lot of minutes.  Murph was a tough pick, but ultimately he spreads the floor and gives threes and lots of Dreb.  Dreb to me is one of the most key stats without considering proper usage distribution.  Joe D gives me some assists, D, and a nice spot up shooter that can play some 1 and 2.  Edge will cover 2 and 3 minutes which will allow for an undrafted player to give some help at the 1 and Durant with another undratted player to help at the 3 which lets Williams play his natural 4 some.  This will make sure that I do not lose the 5% on playing Buck at the 3 all game long.
