I guess another big factor for me is I plan my team three seasons in advance and not 10-11.

One reason I'd lean towards HS scouting is so your SSs and CFs are 18 when they start their career. Frustrating when you draft a 22yr old, call them up at 26, and after their first ML season they start to decline.
