One of those games where the stats look better than the actual performance. Defense and offensive line got exposed. All but one possession started at the 20. They're also out of RB's.

"At times we just looked out of sync," Newton said. "... But it's a long season."

I don't know what's happening here...

It's funny because, when you're scrolling, you can stop at a point and say "Damn.  That chick has some bigass feet."

Played like hot garbage for the first half, but put it together in the second half. Perhaps not a season saving win (they would be in 1st with a 2-3 record), but it's a good win vs a team they may need that tiebreaker against.

"The no-huddle offense has been our edge," said Newton, who threw for 255 yards. "It was not panic time, because we have been in these situations before."

Tied. Cam had his best game of the season. Defense and running backs are very, very bad.

“When you call one play and it gets 10-plus (yards), you highlight that play moving forward,” said Newton, who had three rushes of 10 or more yards. “They were obviously read plays, but dictated upon what the defense gives you, it’s on the quarterback to pull it. So when you pull it, time and time again you keep getting numerous yards, you have to keep calling it.”

“When I was running, people were saying, ‘Well, don’t you think you’re running too much?’ ” Newton said. “But now in the situation today, I was doing whatever coach asked. It was there for me to take.”

I'm sure stinenavy was watching, but Cam and the Panthers just flat out waved the white flag on 4th down with the game hanging in the balance.

If you're referring to the final Panthers play, it was 4th and 25. They didn't have any plays that worked inside the redzone, so I doubt they had anything in the playbook for 4th and 25.

The whole game was hot garbage. Panthers long drives ended with field goals (or turnovers), Seahawks had two turnovers in the redzone, including one in which the center rolled the ball to Wilson. The game between them last year was terribly played as well.

This season is pretty much a lost season. I knew they'd blow. They are still trying to get out of the salary cap hell the previous GM put them in. Doesn't help that one of the better DE in the game won't play again because of the domestic violence blow-up.

While I agree he is not a good QB they are still in 1st place so I wouldnt say they need to panic. 

If they can beat a New Orleans team on Thursday night, that blows on the road, they'll be alright. I would like if they shitcanned their OC Mike Shula and brought back Chud, or at least someone with a bit of offensive innovation.

I was referring to that play, and obviously no team has a great play for 4th and 25, but just ~6 minutes prior on 3rd and long from roughly the same field position he hucked it up into tight coverage to his 6'5" receiver at midfield who came down with the ball between arguably the best CB in the league and arguably the best FS in the league.
Both the play and Cam's demeanor on that play were a surrender. He looked like he was ready for the game to be over and he just wanted to expedite the ending.
Hard to call the Panthers' season over, though: they still lead the South. It's not like team's haven't ever turned it around in a season to play better than they had down the stretch.

Cam has as many Passing TD's in his career as Josh Freeman.
Cam passed Mark Brunell, Rich Gannon, and Bobby Layne for most rushing yards among QB's and is now 14th all-time.
