Congrats Nate.  Don't feel so bad about losing in 6 now....

This pick  is probably (unfairly?) representative of the player himself. It is neither sexy nor exciting, but it's fundamentally sound and will hopefully win us some games. Additionally, this is exactly where he went last year.

Thanks guys. Congrats to thisredbox as well for a solid season, you join a very short list of people who made it to the finals in their first season in this league. Btw, I was seriously entertaining the idea of using the 12-13 Duncan at SF (96% there) had you not taken him.

I'll stick with my assumption that adequate usage can be found in the later rounds and take the guy who gives me the most flexibility in terms of needing D and boards later on: Ben Wallace.

Ash beat me 5-3 in the regular season, had you not taken him down I really don't think I would have survived the 2nd round. After you stole home court from me in game #1 I was concerned as well. Your team ended up being the only one I lost to twice in the playoffs, so I feel very lucky to have finally survived the playoffs in a league and your team was likely a top-4 team IMO, you just got a nasty division and playoff draw. You will be near the bottom of my list in the division draft rankings and GL against NC in the PPL playoffs, if we both survive then our next playoff meeting will have a little more on the line.

I was seriously considering taking Wallace in that spot. I'm going more on the lack of high usage/good efg/high d combo guys and felt that of the guys I was considering he had the least likelihood of coming back to me in the next round. Wallace is nice because unlike a lot of the other low usage/high d/high rebounding guys he doesn't come with 7+ fp48.
