The Mauer World is looking for some dedicated owners who like to compete hard, and also have fun at the same time.  We have rules for the Mauer world that we designed to try and make our world as competitive as possible.  If you are interested please don't hesitate to contact me.

Private World Rules 

1. Voting 
If the world is voting for a new rule to be instituted it needs 2/3(21 owners) to be apporved for the world. All owners are strongly encourages to vote. Voting in done by trade chat to prevent bickering on the chat board. 

2.Vet Commitee 
If a rule has been broken a Vets Commitee consisting of 5 owners(including the commish) will come to a decision if a owner needs to be removed from the world because of a rule violation. The owner who is up for removal can make a case for why they shouldn't be removed from the world. Then the Vet commitee would discuss and vote on if the owner should be removed from the league.

3. Minor Leagues 
Minor League teams should have enough players to field a competive roster, and not have pitching staffs that are at 0%. This takes the fun out of the game even though it is the minor league level, and by having your batters facing pitchers with 0% you don't get a good feel of how your prospects are performing. 

4. Minimum Win Rule 
In the mauer league there is a Mimimum win rule of 58 wins. If an owner fails to reach 58 wins the Vet Commitee will decide if the owner should stay in the league. This rule is in place to prevent tanking for high draft picks, and to keep the world competitive. 

5. Rule Changes 
As we go into future seasons of the Mauer World we might find that we need to add new rules, or modify established rules. If this occurs any new rules or changes to established rules will be up for discussion after roster expansions to the end of the season. That will give us a week to discuss new rules, and rule changes. Then we would vote in the time between the start of the play in series and the end of the divisional champoiship series.

This team will have the first overall pick in this years draft after a rough season with only 46 wins.  This team is a major fixer upper that needs some TLC.  This team has lots of payroll flexibility with no contracts over 1M.  If you are looking for a project this team is for you, your options will be endless to make this team your own.

This team has the second overall pick for this years draft after a 57-105 record.  This team has only 5 players signed who will make over 1M this season which will give you lots of room to mould this team in your managerial image.  This team has some solid ML players to use as building blocks for the future.

This team will pick twice in the first round at numbers 4 and 10 after a 71-91 Season.  Having 2 draft picks in the top 10 is a great way to build a team.  This team has a low payroll with no high money contracts.  Another team that has limitless options for the future.  TAKEN BY MITCHO8

This team picks 5th after a 62-100 record.  This team also has a low payroll which opens up lots of options.  This team has limited ML talent and will need some work to make it to the playoffs in the future.

This team picks 6 after a 65-97 record.  This team has a great bunch of young ML talent which as poised to make a run at the playoffs in the very near future.  This team will be scary good in the seasons to come.

This team finished with a 79-83 record last season and will pick 18th in the draft.  This team has been the division champ 11 times, and is only a few players away from making back to the playoffs.  This team is solid at the ML level in pitching and batting.

This team has the 21st pick in the draft after a .500 season.  This team has been at .500 or better in 16 out of 21 seasons.  This team is only a few FA's from making it back to the playoffs.

This team also finished at .500 and will draft 22nd.  This team has been well looked after over the years with minimal owner changes.  This team has a great pitching staff, and is well stocked at the ML level.  This team will compete for a playoff spot this season with only a few line-up tweaks.
