The #1, 2, 18, and 22 ranked teams stayed the same after one night, everyone else moved around. I don't think that means anything and it's not really that interesting, but still.
Last Night
Texas Lutheran 65 #3 Willamette 76
With apologies to ajlillie, my picking his team for the opening night of GotN worked against him again as Willamette defended its home court with a solid 11 point win. Things started out positive for the visitors when they ran out to a 12-3 lead in the first five minutes but Willamette quickly recovered to come back and surge into a lead of their own halfway through the first. They were able to stay in front pretty much the rest of the way to secure an opening night win. Willamette and bullman had three players in double figures and moved up to #3 with the win while Texas Lutheran and ajlillie slip down to the others receiving votes section with the loss.
Also considered: #10 Susquehanna made a ton of free throws down the stretch to get a 69-64 win at Ursinus, #25 Dickinson missed a couple free throws and breathed a sigh of relief when a shot a the buzzer missed giving them a 64-63 victory over Merchant Marines, #16 Wittenberg went on the road and beat Greensboro 73-69, and #12 Lynchburg handled Whitworth 93-80.
Sim blowout watch: Brandeis lost big but still covered against East Connecticut State 47-100 and Arcadia did the same vs #14 Vassar 57-114.
GotN
#2 Wooster (1-0)(pseudochamp) at #5 John Carroll (1-0)(whit6r)
This is easily the biggest game in the history of this series as these two meet for the twelfth straight non-conference season. Too nervous... can't type...

Sim blowout watch: Mount Ida is getting 54 points as they host #8 Emory.
