I don't check the classifieds very often... And when I do, it seems there aren't many low or $80m cap leagues.  I really try to avoid anything above $80m...

I'm the same way now. Just too much luck involved and little managing. To me that's where the fun comes in.

Nine teams to go. Let's get this party started.

I'm going to use Yankee Stadium III

Got the addition Rickysdad. Thanks.

I don't think taking an expansion really is that bad of a deal considering the cap. Rays pitching, Rockies hitting, D-Backs have had some good players with these low dollars. Lots of choices.

Honestly all....

If you're thinking about this league, it doesn't really matter how many seasons are available.... You're not looking for superstars at an $80m cap, you're looking for decent to good players.... You MIGHT have one or two players with .400 OBP.  You can probably get 4-5 .300 hitters.

It is very doubtful you will have more than 1 SP with a WHIP below 1.0.  You WILL field SP's with whips in the 1.20+ range.  A guy with a 1.05 WHIP in RL will most likely be on the all star team.

Don't look it this with high cap eyers... Even with $80m eyes.

Polymerguy... Please clarify:

You instruct to pick 2 franchises 1930's newer.... Does that mean only player seasons 1930 or later?

I assume so, but I want to be clear and have everyone follow the same rules

You are correct biglenr. And I think you are pretty spot on with the team build. With 60-mil to spend, you are looking for mediocrity, fielding a team with guys who are fun to manage, juggling lineups. Hence why I love low caps.

Wow, having a hard time keeping this at the top of the list. Come on, 9 more teams and I'll stop buggin.

I knew this would take a while, but longer than I anticipated. Thoughts on allowing second teams if owners would like to enter them? I'm usually against it, but entertaining the thought.

If it remains slow, I would approve owners entering a second team.

The other option on the table is to lower teams in the league? Anyone want to talk about that option? Or is it preferred to offer second teams to people? I'm willing to hold tight also, just take longer to fill.
