G'morning, I think given the min's these players play some owners may want to use scrubs. I'll go find some truly fine specimens to fill this roll and post them later today or tomorrow. ehh you might run into problems with that...sim likes to throw in scrubs randomly and it wouldnt be fair to have jordan come in and dominate for 10 mins...i wouldnt trust everyone to rest those guys either...probably safer just to use actual scrubs
Actually, I was think'n somebody would 'lose it' and just play them anyway. lol   Seriously..you have to check the rest box on scrubs, I've never seen a checked off player get used. That doesn't mean it's never happened, I've just never seen it. I was kid'n anyway, I'm sure this era offers plenty of choices for me to pick from.

why is my team again returned to the Pacific? 
I made the trade to get out of the Pacific, ad leave Jerry Lucas there -
and to take Connie Hawkins in the midwest-

that match up - (Connie Hawkins in the midwest ) is the reason for making hte trade

we traded teams, and draft slots - not just the two players -

a big part of my doing the deal had to do with the big studs (Wilt, Jabbar, West, )
that resided in that division...

I am not sure a division switch is really part of the deal.

We traded the picks.  My teams were in the Atlantic and Midwest, which is already in compliance with separate teams in separate conferences.

So to me, I stay in midwest.

I see it as, 1) the divisions are set by random draw and can not be traded, 2) you may trade the players & picks.

Myself, and I assume others, have weighed the div assn'mnts to determine draft picks. I will update the DDL main post to clearly state that divisions may NOT be traded. Initially I was going to allow this trade and then make a rule against trading div spots, but kaye indicated that the division trade was not included. Sry for any confusion, but I feel this is the right thing to do for the whole league.

I think that is a bunch of horse $hit - We made the trade after each team had selected ONE player each, and with the clear understanding that we were trading teams and not just players. 

Your rational about drafting with the divisions in mind further supports my assertion that the trade should have included divisions - (I can send you each email that states my reasoning for wanting the trade and the clear nature of the extent of the trade)

Further, I reminded you early in this draft that you had erred in placing my team back in the Pacific, and you said it was your mistake and that you would shift my team back to the midwest.

Anyway, I will go back to the Pacific as you seem to see fit -

I think this is a mistake and I am somewhat puzzled by the waffling on the divisional alignments.

examples:

Mark Cuban trades Mavericks team / franchise to the Buss family for the Lakers....
do they shift the Mavericks to Pacific conf.?

Jerry Jones trades his team / franchise the Dallas Cowboys to the Rooney family for the Steelers -
do they shift Dallas to the AFC and Pittsburgh to the NFC ?

PS:  My apologies to the league for having to listen to my crying,
and to Smokey, but dang - this is a clear cut case....

PSS:  I guess Smokey has just gave a death sentence to the Pac division -
I am getting ready to open a barrell or two of kick a$$-
even though this team was built under the assumption that it would be in the midwest and not facing Wilt -

I would target my anger onto smokey's team - but after looking at it - he killed it on his own already

I just sent my GF to the pharmacy for Preperation H -
I have been screwed thoroughly and my 'roids' are acting up-

It doesn't work anyways because jkaye will have 2 teams in same conference. Although if u are willing to fix it I would be willing to trade conferences.

jkaye has a team in the Atlantic (Bill Russell) - eastern conf.,
and a team in Midwest (Jerry Lucas) - western conf.

Yes I would have to trade his Atlantic team with my pacific. For u guys to trade pacific and Midwest. Or you trade pacific and Atlantic and I trade pacific and Midwest.
