thanks smokey,
we traded teams, and draft slots - not just the two players -
a big part of my doing the deal had to do with the big studs (Wilt, Jabbar, West, )
that resided in that division...
I am not sure a division switch is really part of the deal.
We traded the picks. My teams were in the Atlantic and Midwest, which is already in compliance with separate teams in separate conferences.
So to me, I stay in midwest.
I see it as, 1) the divisions are set by random draw and can not be traded, 2) you may trade the players & picks.
"I see it as, 1) the divisions are set by random draw and can not be traded, 2) you may trade the players & picks." when I posted this (12/28) you both could have backed out of the trade, now with so many picks gone by the trade is final. Myself, and I assume others, have weighed the div assn'mnts to determine draft picks. I will update the DDL main post to clearly state that divisions may
NOT be traded. Initially I was going to allow this trade and then make a rule against trading div spots, but kaye indicated that the division trade was not included. Sry for any confusion, but I feel this is the right thing to do for the whole league.
