NFL Franchise Progressive League

Guys,
I know things have been extremely quiet as of late regarding this league. I made a mistake by proposing a significant rule change to the league which has caused some to be strongly for and some to be strongly against.
There has also been discussion from at least one potential owner who won't sign up because the remaining teams don't have the future quality to make it worthwhile. In hindsight, I wish I had only proposed raising the cap and # of keepers and left the rest of it alone.
To that end, I am going to declare the future keepers provision off the table and we will go forward with the rules as set forth in the forums.
Also, there have been a lot going on in my life recently that wasn't known to me at the time I launched this idea so I apologize that I haven't been as dilligent recently regarding the league. About 3 weeks ago I found out that my wife is expecting our 3rd child (I'm turning 40 on Sunday....yikes!) and she's been going through the whole morning sickness/no energy thing so my WIS time has been limited as I've picked up more of the duties around the house and with the other 2 kids.
For those of you willing to stay with it based on the current direction, my pledge to you is to make all efforts I can to regenerate interest in the league and get it off the ground. In about 6-7 months, I may need to hand off commish duties for at least a couple of seasons while adjusting to life with another child in the house but that notwithstanding I am ready to recommit to making this league a success.
