HOH - Preakness

So, first, let me say that I am going to be out all weekend. Leaving at 3 p.m. today and will have no contact until Sunday night. So just know, this will be scored Sunday evening sometime officially, but also know that you need to send your picks to stevedotdec by noon EST tomorrow so he can have them posted before the race.

Here are the odds we are using on the Preakness:

1. Dynamic Impact (12-1)

2. General a Rod (15-1)

3. California Chrome (3-5)

4. Ring Weekend (20-1)

5. Bayern (10-1)

6. Ria Antonia (30-1)

7. Kid Cruz (20-1)

8. Social Inclusion (5-1)

9. Pablo Del Monte (20-1)

10. Ride On Curlin (10-1)

You have 500 RSG Bucks to bet on these. You must bet them all.

You may make as many bets as you want in $2 increments

You are allowed to bet a horse to win, to place or to show

You may also bet an Exacta (horses finishing 1-2 in right order), a Trifecta (horses finishing 1-2-3 in right order) or a Superfecta (horses finishing 1-2-3-4 in right order)

I will be using the standard betting line principles laid out here:
sharpsportsbetting.com/forums/free/racing/index.cgi/noframes/read/89

To calculate the lines for bets other than to win, but of course, I won't be able to give you those numbers until long after the race is over as I will be out of pocket.

Player with the most money left is HoH

TB1: Most bets
TB2: First to get it to me

Be sure you double and triple check your entries before you send them to me.  I have never followed horse racing, so unlike normally where I will send an entry back if something is wrong to be resubmitted, all I'm going to do is post exactly what you guys send in.

Also note, there will be no grace period if your entry is late.  If I don't have it by noon ET, you get nothing for an entry.  Good luck.

What point is that? Is his blow up doll out of air again?

Democrats

Hillary Clinton: Former Secretary of State, Sen of New York, 1st lady. Will have the easiest path to the nomination in recent history if she runs.

Joe Biden: Vice President, Former Sen of Delaware, twice failed Presidential candidate. Good Democratic soldier, but too much stigma of him being dumb for a credible campaign to happen for him.

Brian Schweitzer: Former Gov of Montana. Conservative Dem. Can run as Anti-Obama/Hillary/Wall Street. Dissed on the ACA, because it wasn’t more to the left. Pro-coal and oil.

Martin O’Malley: Gov of Maryland. He might have a good resume, but he’s as vanilla as they come. Think of Tim Pawlenty, or if you don’t remember him it’s because there’s nothing memorable there.

Andrew Cuomo: Gov of New York, Mario’s son. Wall Street, Wall Street, Wall Street. Endorses Republicans, which isn’t going to fly in a partisan primary.

Dennis Kucinich: Former Rep of Ohio, twice failed Presidential candidate. Saw a UFO before. Guy that Repubs like to point at and use of an example that Dems are crazy.
Thanks?

Meh thought it was $2 minimum not increments. Goes with barely reading the rules I guess.

Well I'm lucky that mine is divisible by two as well if that means "whole number". Horse bets don't have to be "divisible" by two to a whole number, meaning you can bet $5 because you get 2.5x the betting odds.

I think the point is you generally don't bet $1, like you don't at the races, because all of the odds are based on a $2 bet (except for some exceptions $1 superfecta on some races or daily doubles.)

But I'm not sure what dubs implied
5/17/2014 5:39 PM
Either way, it's almost AND THERE OFF time...

Let's go #9 Pablo del monte!!!
