I can safely say that I had no idea what any of what I just read meant. My brain hurts.

DETOUR #2: PROP BETS

So, what is the Super Bowl without a few prop bets. You must select five prop bets and give your predictions.

1) Jersey number of the first person to score in the Super Bowl (1 second for each number off)
2) Number of shirtless members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers during performance (50 seconds for each member you are off)
3) Number of receptions for Percy Harvin (10 seconds for each reception you are off)
4) Number of turnovers in the game (15 for each turnover off)
5) Length of the National Anthem (1 second for each second off)
6) Yards passing differential between Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson (2 seconds for every yard off)

Due by 5 p.m. on NATIONAL SEAHAWKS DAY or Sunday, whichever comes first.

For the record, I'm taking Seattle.  Any takers?

Sucking up to the organizer, are ya? Real men pick Denver.

I hate Seattle.  But they are going to win the super bowl.  That defense is sick.

I'm cheering for Denver (have a lot of family from Colorado and my mom's a big Bronco fan), but I think Seattle will win.

Seattle wins it.

I'm a fan of neither team.  I want to pick Seattle, but I really do think the Broncos will take it.

Manning cannot let this one slip by. Wilson will struggle on the big stage. Broncos by  2 TD's.

Peytons ducks will get scooped out of the sky by the hawks

The Broncos defeated ESPN's Lord And Savior, The Almighty and Holy Tom Brady. Unless the Seahawks have signed Tim Tebow and LeBron James, the Seahawks have no prayer. Chris Berman will put a plague of Joe Theisman commentary upon the pagan Seahawks.

I'd rather see John Fox win than Pete Carroll.

none of them are Marshawn Lynch, and I prefer to go with Ben Vereen's boy
