I was going for Willie Horton but he had just got picked before our turns.

But really I did not want to go for OFs this early, I have had to change my strategy in this draft cause everyone was drafting power-hitting OFs in the early rounds. Unusual I think except for the biggest stars, but it meant that for self-defense purposes I needed to get some HR power in the OF as well, amazing how sparse the OFs are this early.

Oh well. Tony C. is a sort of saint of baseball in my view, because of what happened to him. Yankees fan or not (I am) he was a lovable player and is sorely missed. Glad to have him on the team.

I hate trying to do research in an airport with shoddy WiFi. First world problems, I know

Your absolutely correct on Tony C.Tony is probably the player that came as close to an on the field death since Roy Chapman. It is amazing that since 1920 no player has died in a game.Just think of all the pitched balls, outfiled collisions etc since 1920

Hello all,

I am sorry for the short notice, but I must pause the draft today. I am in Florida for the memorial service for a loved one and while I thought I would be able to keep up while here, I simply can not. I have updated the board through yesterday's picks.

I plan on resuming tomorrow, will send out a sitemail with more details later tonight. Sorry for any inconvenience but I must run now and will check in a little later.
