Ballparks/alignment: Owners will pick their ballpark at any time during the initial draft

While I understand the concept, the rules do not say a draft pick 'only' for stadium selection. I will let the commissioner make a decision and update the rules. Until then, however, I will not consider Yankee Stadium as my ballpark.

Yes, you have to use a draft pick to select your stadium. This is a 26-round draft, 25 for your roster and one for your ballpark. You can use any draft pick to pick your park.
