Just
three two ONE openings in Canseco, an excellent, low-drama world with very low turnover and a good minimum win requirement rule (for any two-season period shall; 115 total wins, for any three season period, 180 total wins; for any four-season period 250 combined wins) that has minimized tanking and kept everyone honest in the 3 seasons since it's been implemented. Canseco gets better every season so be a part of the next one (Season 22) with one of these teams:
*
Nashville Franchise: The first victim of our Minimum Win Requirement Rule leaves behind a wealth of young talent at all levels and the 2nd overall pick in the draft. Excellent rebuild opportunity. They are in the NL South which is traditionally up for grabs (it's been 6 seasons since anybody won more than 90 games) so once the talent grows up they could be a monster.
*
Vancouver Franchise: Best of both worlds: this team returns a number of players that helped it win 3 division titles in 4 years but it also bottomed out last year (68-94, 3rd place in NL West) so it picks 9th. Take it either way and be a part of Canseco's National League where an amazing 10 of the 16 franchises are owned by people who have spent at least 10 seasons in Canseco.
* Pawtucket Franchise: This is a very talented team that was managed by an excellent owner for the last several seasons who had to leave Canseco because he's starting law school. Plenty of talent is still there and you won't be waking up to any neglected disasters in the minors. They went only 82-80 last year (good for 2nd in the AL North) so they pick a halfway-decent 17th, but they won 87+ and earned playoff berths in 3 of the 4 seasons prior to that.
