Say a redshirt takes a 30+ WE hit. But you decide to keep the redshirt.

15 games into the season, you decide you want to take the redshirt off.

Will he return to his original WE??

yes, but if you remove it and reapply it for any reason (while you can still obvs) his WE hit would likely be even bigger.
