Welcome, eastonest.  I was zeroing in on Dibble myself.  There are still a lot of great options.

in putting together our team, do the players have to have had enough AB or PA with the team to appear in the SIM for that season, or is it good enough that they appear on the baseballreference.com roster for the season?  By way of example, Rick Reed and Vicente Palacios played for the Pirates in 1988 and appear on the baseballreference roster for the Pirates for that season, but neither had enough innings pitched to show up on the sim as having played for the Pirates in 1988.  Put simply does appearance in the sim determine roster eligibility for our league, or is roster eligibility established by being on the baseballreference.com roster for the season?

Eligibility is established simply by being on the baseball-reference.com roster for that season.  No minimum PA or IP.
