Blake is not going to be be much better than his other seasons.. Rebounding is about the same as last year.. a bit lower than his first 2 years.. his blocks and steals are down.. his shooting is the same.. only thing is that his usage is up over 28. Still not a guy I see drafting very often.

Deandre however has great rebounding numbers.. low usage.. amazing 65% efg.. while keeping his blocks at 5%.. I could see Deandre becoming a 3-4 round pick in a draft league at least.

On Kevin Durant

Right now he's at 32.2% usage, if he can get to 32.5% usage I believe you can justify him being a top 5 pick in draft leagues.  Currently he's 56.8 eFG (64.5 TS%) 2.4 OREB% 19.1% DREB 26.7% assist (but this will be nerfed to to around 18%) 12.6% TOV.

I believe this is better than Jordan best SIM year, not including defense.  Which not sure where he will land on that

hes not getting above 32.5 or at least i don't see it westbrook is coming back right after the break and that will lower his usage

Yeah he's 32.7 now.  I'm hoping Westbrook will see that light but I doubt it

On Paul George

He's numbers have fallen off a bit he's at 51.2% eFG now.  Still pretty much the same everywhere else.   But with the drop off in his shooting, he might be a later round player is a draft league (rather than a 1st round pick), because of his defense probably being 90+ and 28.5% usage

Nice improvement out of Curry. See comparison from last season

Blake Griffin is a good fit on a team if u have good defense and rebounding with PF/CF and SF/PF type players (Ben Wallace and Serge Ibaka would work well in that scenario).

On James Harden

He's been playing better lately his eFG is at 52.4% with a huge 60.8% for TS with 27.5% usage.  His assists are at 25.2% but again that will be nerfed by about 30%.  TOV is at 15.4% a little high but not horrible.  Now is D is at 107 but last year was at 106 and he got a WIS 60D.  So we will see how that goes...

Why are some of the actual rates (such as assist%) adjusted by WIS?
3/8/2014 1:16 PM
I asked the same question recently. It's because sites like Basketball Reference count ast% as the percent of fgm by the rest of the team that they assisted on. WIS counts it as percent of all made shots (including their own). Since they can't assist their own shots, WIS has a lower number.

Hoops thanks for the information, didn't know why either..

On Andre Drummond

Already a 5th/6th round pick in the draft league.  With this season could be as high as 2nd round pick

17.3% Oreb/ 27.2% Dreb, 2.1% Stl and 4.5% Block.  Doesn't hurt he's also 61.7% eFG at a 16.2% Usage.  Also his TOV is 10.5%.  One thing holding him back 213 fouls in 2012 mins (if plays rest of games with same minutes it will project out to 2661 mins with 282 fouls).  And the wild card again is defense he has a 99 (89 WIS) last year and now has a 103 this year.

This will be a nice Wade season for the bench.  High usage, 55% from the field.  About 2000 mins.
3/10/2014 12:31 PM
AD will HAVE to be a 90D+ since he should be a lock for the all defensive team as the NBA blocks leader. Wonder if he will be a SF? Tov% is down this year (8.8% right now), efg is up and FGA/FTA ratio is better. A tad high on the pf side but into the 4-point usage tier with a decent .522 efg right now (likely to see a bump if he keeps up what he's been doing the last few games.)
3/13/2014 1:51 AM
who are you talking about, Nate?  Drummond has a .617 efg% & only a 5th tier usage guy... his tov% is 10.5...
