I'll enter with Fritz Fisher. Pitched for the Detroit Tigers against the Minnesota Twins on 4/19/1964 at Tiger Stadium as a 22 year-old just out of the University of Michigan. Struck out the first batter he faced, Hall of Famer Harmon Killebrew, but then walked future MVP Zoilo Versalles and 2B Bernie Allen, and then allowed a single to C Jerry Zimmerman and then the backbreaker, a double to pitcher Camilo Pascual. His final linescore: 1/3 IP, 4 ER.
The poor guy. When he came in and stuck out Killebrew he probably thought he was going to the Hall of Fame. 10 minutes later his career was over.
