I started arguing against EM always taking a walk before I knew he didn't hit very well in clutch situations.   I'm fine with him walking now and letting Wilson, Davis, Buhner, etc, etc, do the actual work.

But I'm even more convinced that he doesn't belong in the HOF.    Passing the buck to a Davis, Wilson, Buhner because you can't deliver isn't HOF-worthy.

You're trolling because you got called out for being an idiot. At least you aren't claiming you were drunk when you said it.

You sound dumber each time you say it!

I voted the 3rd option to switch it up. That was bad too.

The numbers are what they are.   And they don't indicate that EM hit very well in the clutch.   But he could walk with the best of them.

I'm quite amused that BL, who argued the age of the earth with biz for about four months, bailed on his argument with me so quickly.

I can't possibly imagine why.

He always does that when he's wrong.

FWIW, he answered your question.

You should look at the numbers before you continue to argue this.

According baseball-reference Martinez had a clutch rating of minus 3. Arod is a minus 10. Barry bonds minus 8.

Ignoring roids, I guess Bonds and Arod are not Hofers based on more Mike and tec logic.

Well, he "answered" my question within the context of an imaginary dialog with me, and then he bailed.
