I was trying to politely say that any answer you get for this is likely bullshit.
I'll say .700 OPS for a defensive SS. Then you can look at my 4 teams and see .550 to .650 because that's who I could get. I'll look to replace all 4, at any time, but the numbers are what they are. And, of course, if my SS had an OPS of .800 and I could make a deal for a SS that would OPS .900, I'd be all over it. And that deal might mean my desired .850 1B will be moved and replaced with a .770 1B, I gained .020 in team OPS by upgrading my SS and playing an "unacceptable" 1B.
There are just too many moving parts to break down exact numbers for what one seeks/desires for each position.
