In this league you shall pick a franchise from the 2010/11 seasons or 2012/13 seasons and then construct a roster based upon players from your two given seasons(combined, partial, or full seasons are ok but no clones).  In addition you can pick two throwback players from your franchise's history to add to your roster.

Throwback players must come from the same season, must be from your franchise, and must not be in the sim data base for 2010 through 2013 (e.g. if one were to choose a 2012/13 blue jays team they could pick the 87 OF Bell and 87 P Key). Throwback players are restricted to players in the 1969 through 2009 data bases (e.g., sorry yankees fan, you can't pick the 61 maris and mantle). Please note that the three franchise that have moved since 69, the rangers, brewers, and the nationals, would be able to use players from their previous team identities, the senators, pilots, and the expos, as their throwback players.

Up to two of each franchise is allowed if one is from the 2010/11 season set and the other is from the 2012/2013 season set (e.g. we can have two mets teams in the league, just one will be from 2010/11 and the other 2012/13 season).

12 teams from the 2010/11 season set will comprise one league and 12 teams from the 2012/13 season set will comprise the other league.

80 mil cap

no DH.

Alignment will be geographic within each respective league.

AAA will be 6 position players and 2 pitchers of very poor quality, fictional players.

no clones.

roster consist of players from your chosen franchise from 2010/11 or 2012/13. Full, partial, or combined seasons are ok.

two throwback players from 69 through 2009. Must be from same season from your franchise. Can use either full, partial, or combined seasons. Must not be in 2010 through 2013 data base.

Must use a stadium that your team used in 2010/11 or 2012/13*. 
* I would accept a rangers team moving to Washington to use the Senators 69 through 71 stadium, a team moving to seattle and using the pilots 69 stadium, or a Nationals team moving to Montreal and using an Expos 69-2004 Stadium.

Team names must reflect your team (no stupid names!). I would allow an expos, pilots, or senators team but otherwise I would require teams to use their team name somehow.

I couldnt choose the 2002 Derek Lowe because he was in the league 2010-2013 even though it was with a different franchise?

you're correct about lowe, PEdro, and Clemens.
For the redsox I would recommend a combination of the 87 Clemens and Boggs.

2000 pedro and Nomar might be fun.

The 80 mil cap is kind of the point.
I just tried a combo of the 87 clemens and boggs that worked really well with the 12/13 redsox.

May I have the 2012 and 13 Orioles please
