Insane that this guy could fall back to me in the 4th, almost took him in the 3rd but was concerned about having to move some Z-Bo minutes to the 3. Now I may use a different version of Z-Bo altogether. No, he's not the dominate force he was in the 90's but his 81D will help Timmy D deal with the likes of Boozer, Superman, Zo, and the Mailman down low in this division. SO, I'm taking:

Steelers, the plan since the 2nd was to complete the 3,4 and 5 positions ASAP then draft 48mpg of high ast% from the PG position. I have a very low tov%, pf rate and fga/fta ratio so I am prepared to get assists there and willing to make a serious efg, tov%, and/or usage tradeoff to lock down enough assists, I have a long list of guys that are unlikely to be taken from the PG position and usage from the backcourt can be as low as I want it now. There are also ton's of three point shooting high efg% SG's out there.

My efg% is on course to be on the low side right now, but my rebounding will be top-tier, and I already have close to 144mpg of ultra clean play down low from guys that will get to the stripe a ton. It will be interesting to see the impact of too much usage from my bigs, but I'm cool with where this squad is right now.

Agreed nate, I came into this draft thinking frontcourt 1st. This round I had a board full o' tasty tres and took McD. The quality boardhogs are drying up..there's always Fort's def6. The high def that doesn't bring a ton of liability is almost all gone, and it's only the 4th round. Getting a player like Rose early allowed me to concentrate on my bigs. This era is loaded with good SG's...afterall it is the era of the perimeter game. My def is pedestrian, but I like my team so far. I've never had my draft boards so thoughly trashed..but it's fun.  We got a santa ana going...Gone Ride'n
