most players don't use the squeeze play. It is a cheap run. I enjoy the play the few times it is used in real life but the SIM allows you to do it all the time with no regard to the runner on 3rd, the batter or the situation. If you ever watch real baseball you will rarely see it used and most pitchers (the excuse the squeezers for some reason makes it valid) are not capable of pulling it off. I would guess only 10-15% of current players are good enough bunters to make the play.

So in other words this may be WHAT IF SPORTS but WHAT IF there is no squeeze play? You can still play the game.

Well, I put together a Phillies team, but apparently too late.  Let me look at the other teams.

Want to add that I very much applaud making no squeezing an official rule.

Right now it's a widely accepted unwritten rule, but unwritten rules suck since there's no way to fairly enforce them.

It should be up to every commissioner to determine whether or not squeezing will be allowed when creating the league.
