More smokey history...what happened irl was krakatoa's mom went off in ~2500bce. this sent a tsunami up the indian ocean into the pursian gulf and funnelled it into mesopotamia. The thing was +500ft and had spawned tornado's of the the boundry effect..in short **** hit the fan big time. The first account, in mesopotamian, Untanaphistum was Noah. Man, this story has made the rounds..seems it really happened. Would I kid you....???

Earlier than that Smokey.. It was a Sumerian myth as well.  Mostly likely in was due to the melting during the last ice age.   I mean prior to the ice age the Black Sea and Persian Gulf did not exist.

Miles of ice melting pretty much (relatively) all at once, I'm not surprised it rained for 40 days.   Anyway I not spending my money on that crap movie, have fun smokey! lol

Sumerian is mesopotamian. The first recorded writing..cuniform. They wrote it as first hand and it agrees with geological events that could have produced the tsunami, ice age is 22K bce, wrong timing.

End of the Ice Age was actually around 8-10k BCE.  The max glaciation was 22k BCE, but the big melt happened much later than that.
