^very promising news for trump at this point in the race. Did anyone on these forums suggest Trump had NO chance to win? These are 3 key states, maybe the three most important.

Shocker?

Couldn't it be: Any Republican 54%, Any Democrat 25%?

glad you see that Trump is at least as good as any republican. For so long you've claimed he's worse. #MikeTAwakening

No, he's still the worst. But he is for a strong military. Shocking that the military folks like him, right?

This actually shocked me so early in the race. It may be too soon for these results because I'd rather Trump v Hillary, over Bernie. Hillary still has time to lose to Bernie.

PPP's new national poll finds that Republicans have quickly unified around Donald Trump, making the Presidential race more competitive than it has previously been perceived to be.

Hillary Clinton leads Trump 42-38, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 4% and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 2%. In a match up just between Clinton and Trump, her lead expands to 47-41. That's because supporters of Johnson and Stein would prefer her over Trump 36-18. Although there's been a lot of talk about third party candidates drawing support away from Trump, they're actually taking a little bit more from Clinton at this point.

When Sanders is finally snookered out of the race, no matter what he says, some of his anti-establishment supporters are going to switch to Trump. These numbers ought to move again after that.

I find it hard to believe that anyone who hasn't already supported Trump will suddenly jump on his bandwagon. It's been several days since Cruz/Kasich abandoned the race. If the people supporting them haven't changed their stripes, they're not going to.

Republicans need to understand that by their own stupidity, they've let their party become dominated by retards. First, the Tea Party, now Trump.

Supporting Trump only sucks them deeper into the vortex of their own stupidity.

They need to cut their losses for this election, regroup, figure out a way to take the GOP back from the retards, and try to rebrand themselves for 2020 (or 2024) into something electable.

Still too early. The polling is just starting to come out now that those guys dropped out of the race... This is Trump's starting place. Now There's a grieving period. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. You'll see more and more people switch to Trump from the Republican side of things the more they are reminded that the alternative is the person they have been screaming from the mountaintops for years about her Benghazi and Email Server lies.

I agree. Trump is positioning himself well there, better than any other Republican that ran this year.
