How can you call someone stupid when you are the one who wants Trump as President? I would sell you this bridge if Moy had not already bought it
Yeah, well it doesn't bode too well for somebody when they think they've got the answers and an enormous population of people who feel differently are merely "stupid."
Lots of ink has already been spilled at the "surprise" that you can't correlate support for Trump with low education, etc. In fact, the only statistical trend re: Trump supporters is that they all want an authoritative leader.
And they're white men.
There's that.
True. Didn't think of racial demographics -- the article I read with the poll was only focused mainly on ideology.
I retain my hopes that Trump will swing to the center in the general. I don't think he's really a social conservative (and I'm glad about that). He's never talked about social conservatism the way Romney, McCain, and Bush did. I think Trump can make a strong pitch to minorities. Azalea Banks just endorsed him. There's not a whole lot else that African Americans can expect from the Democrats. Trump already supports Affirmative Action. The Dems are now focused on gay rights, transgender rights, illegal immigrant rights and climate change. They're leaving African Americans behind. Don't think for a second this is lost on Trump. Also, I don't think this has to be viewed cynically; it's fundamentally true that if he's able to "bring jobs back" etc, everybody will benefit, including many people who haven't been helped by Obama.
