I got bored, so I decided to examine the latest FAKE NEWS LIE from the DEMOCRATS and their slaves and indentured servants in the CORRUPT NEWS MEDIA spouting their PROPAGANDA.
According to David Dayden of the NEW REPUBLIC, a proposed cut of 0.25% in the loan rate, (That's one penny to four dollars - 1cent/$4.00) will now not go into effect. It never was and it never will be. WHO would have funded the cut? That would be the Mutual Mortgage Insurance Fund. (MMIF). You might remember they required a 1.7 Billion dollar bailout in 2013. Insolvency due to defaults on housing loans given to people with bad credit. In essence, a middle class tax increase.
I also learned people with credit ratings as insolvent as 580 are eligible for loans and, in fact, the DEMOCRATS enacted law that REQUIRES a total of no less than 2% of housing loans must be given to people who can't afford it. It's the LAW!
So this big never happened tax cut amounts to $500 per year. That's 41 a month. $9.41 a week. If you can't afford that, then you can't afford to rent a place let alone buy one. GOD help you if you have to replace the refrigerator, fix the roof or replace your automobile.
Finally it affects less than 8 million mostly single parent households AND becomes moot as soon as the Republicans enact their new tax plan which includes the Paul Ryan exemption of the single parent family. In other words, a lot of to do about nothing.
