Rice Not Lynn is in the World Series and is making a major transition. This world has a solid group of core owners who have been in this world for a long time! This is 1 of the older worlds in HBD. There have been no rules in the past and fairly no structure. There will be rules implemented for season 26 and we are looking to greatly improve the quality of this world. We made major strides in the last offseason and are looking to continue that trend. We are looking as if we will have several openings and are looking for owners who would be interested in sticking around for the long term and want to be a part of what truly will become a great world! Available teams and the world rules will be posted below. As you can see from the available teams, some could certainly use a little help. Also, these teams include the confirmed openings and the people who did not respond. I am expecting maybe 1 or 2 of these people to return. World Rules
1) Both your major and minor leagues must be maintained. Pitchers/players should not be at 0%. Any owner found in violation of this will be contacted and given an opportunity to correct it. If no answer is received within 48 hours, or the next time you check in to your team (can be easily checked), which ever comes second, you will be subject to removal.

2) If you do not log in to your team for 5 days, without previously notifying the commissioner of your absence you will be subject to removal. Any owner found in violation of this will be contacted and given an opportunity to correct it. The owner in question will be given 48 hours to log in to their team. A response would be appreciated but is not required. After 48 hours, you will be subject to removal.

3) There will be minimum win requirements for 1, 2, 3, and 4 season time periods. Those win requirements will be as follows: 50 wins in any 1 season, 110 wins over any 2 consecutive seasons, 180 wins over any 3 consecutive seasons, and 260 wins over any 4 consecutive seasons. If you fail to meet these MWR you will be subject to removal. Also, should your team fall below a .250 winning percentage at any time after 40 major league games have been played, an "investigation" will be started. This .250 winning percentage is not grounds for immediate removal but you will start being looked in to. You will be contacted with concerns about your team. Some suggestions on how to improve may be included as well. If no answer is received within 48 hours, or the next time you check in to your team (can be easily checked), which ever comes second, you will be subject to removal.

4) The amount of cash in a trade cannot exceed the salary in said trade at the time of acceptance. For example, if player A has a $2 million contract when the trade is accepted, and is dealt along with $3 million, the trade will be vetoed. Repeated violation of this rule will result in removal.

This has been a good league for a while and now it is on its way to great. Welcoming to noobs, with enough experienced owners to make it competitive.

As a first time owner last season, I learned quite a bit and had it not been for the welcoming vets in the league would have been a lot worse!  I'm looking forward to my second season.

Just won my first WS ever. Great world and it's back on the rise.  A few more good owners and this can be a world with almost no rollover year to year. Good competitive fun with low drama.
