bullman that tool got me right on the head, nice!

Also, I can't figure out who I am going to vote for this season. I think I like either Addison or Englehart, but Crowley did great too on terrific rip and sos. All of them have terrific ratings and Starr Scores. Oh man, WWJD?

I would absolutely love if some of you could give me some nominees for coach of the year. You can totally nominate yourself, the same as last year. If I can get a good number of nominations quickly, I'm hoping to have the poll up and on the site by tomorrow. Thanks in advance everyone.

*EDIT* - Also GL to everyone in the post-season!

Fixed a logic error in my tournament odds calculation that was causing the odds for favorites to be too high and everyone else too low.

Wow, Millsaps has a 31% chance of winning the whole thing.  I'm not sure I've ever seen odds that good in real life.

Better not choke, Brian.  ;)
6/2/2014 3:13 AM
OK--so WTF happened with cactusrose/Nichols?  Did he try to field his worst possible squad?  Was his account hacked?  Is he leaving the game and wants to win as few credits as possible?

Safe to say there was something quite fishy about that game.  And why don't my NT opponents ever do that?  I could do with a 50-point laugher every now and then come tourney time.
6/2/2014 3:21 AM
It looked like Nichols didn't play any of his top 5 players. Dead out of gas. Complete lay down. At minimum, I would check the bookies in Vegas for funny money on that game. Smells fishy!!!! If his account didn't get hacked, what is the point of playing a whole season and then laying down in the tourney.

I think we'll forego the voting for Coach of the year this season- no nominations. FWIW, I would have nominated and most likely voted for BrianXavier (especialy after Nichol's first round exit) in the end. He's always a favorite but this season he's been unstoppable and with a killer squad.

As for Nichols, I think we're all a little bewildered by that one. Congrats to all who won and GL tonight :)
6/2/2014 7:53 AM
Yeah pep, maybe this is the year??? I yearn that this Millsaps team rival the Millsaps of Naismith!
6/2/2014 8:51 AM
Regarding Nichols - that was a complete lay down on the tracks type of move. players out of position, playing to extreme fatigue. He should have lost and he did. Too bad - had the team to make a little run. I didn't think he was going to win it all, but obviously he was very, very good this year. Maybe he was trying to make some type of point about the engine....

According to his post in coaches chat he " wanted to see how much he could lose by."

Unnamed sources say other coaches in the Coast are so distraught over the move that they have decided to quit coaching and take up farming. At least that is what my source on the scene claims they are doing with all those pitchforks.
6/2/2014 12:24 PM
I see he also decided this was his last season. Nice. As Chad Johnson would say, 'that's a clown move, bro"
6/2/2014 12:51 PM
I had decided to stop playing WIS early in the season. It was obvious to me that I wasn't going to win the NT or even come close. I had always been curious what would happen if I just flipped everything upside down. I meant to do it later in the regular season, but I didn't have the chance to get it done. After I lost in my CT, it became real obvious my team wasn't great so I decided to give it a try. I was surprised that my team even scored 45 points. It was a dumb, lame anti-competitive move, but it was fun for me.

That Milsaps team should win it all going away.

Sad to see you go, cactusrose. I wish you all the best in all your future endeavors, buddy.
