'Two-n-Two' MVP/Cy Young League - FULL Topic

That's totally irrelevant.  I don't know how the rumor has managed to persist for so many years that you go into a TOC based on the league's salary cap.  That's not true.  Your team is assigned to a TOC based on the total salary of your 25-man roster.  I think maybe the confusion arises from the fact that AAA are counted based on the salary of the database players from whom they were generated, not $200K.  But there's a reason $90 and $100 million TOCs are full of OL teams and $80M TOCs are full of prog teams, even though OLs are nominally $80M.

Also, I know the sim deeply ingrains the need for pitching in all of us.  LIVE in particular also makes you value depth because of how painful your life can be when you have to run bad starters out and watch them struggle.  But I looked at some rough numbers, and I would guess that his one bat (Frisch) and the 7th AAA hitter he has to put in his lineup as a result of only having one bat are going to produce 125+ fewer runs together than several of the MVP draws already handed down.  In order for that '86 Roger Clemens to compensate for that loss his ERA would have to be ~4 runs lower than the AAA who would pitch if he weren't on the roster.  I'm not saying it won't be, but I'm definitely not saying it will.  I'm sure there will be at least a few teams in this league whose last starter sports an ERA of 7.  But it certainly won't be all the teams.

I suppose I understand the not liking of certain teams having three SP's, but those offenses should be pretty bad.  Rather than two good hitters, they will only feature one.

If there is enough uprising to outlaw it, I'm sure we can all come to an agreement of two batters and two pitchers each.

Just to be clear I don't have problem with having more than 2 pitchers.  I think it's a nice bonus potentially and maybe adds something to the league actually.

Anything that creates dialogue in a competitive forum is good that's why I say:
