I had a hard time deciding between the Astros and Giants. All those ridiculous Bonds years were tempting.

Unfortunately the Giants don't have much else other than Bonds, but I suppose I can make due building around him.

Really tempted by the talent on the Cubs. But I don't like any of their star players. Didn't like them then. Don't like them now. 

So I will go with sentiment and take a team with players I do like:

The Los Angeles Dodgers.

Just so everyone is clear, our player draft is going to be STRAIGHT format (1-16, 1-16, etc.), NOT a snake format. I just got a sitemail from someone who had somehow missed that from our original post, so I wanted to clarify in case anyone else was under that misconception.

I will assume that since I've submitted my keeper list, we can proceed with the next phase of the draft.  This takes out a bit of the sting of being last in the team phase of the draft, but St Louis still has a long way to go:
