As a special twist on the incentive, if you feel you can improve your team's record but not by 10 games, you can set your own bar. For example, if you feel you can improve the team by 5 games and you achieve it, you will earn a $5 GC.  You just have to state your target number that is less than 10. If you do not state a number, you will default to trying to earn $10 by improving your team record by 10 or more games.

Inside look at  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - New Britain Noblemen Franchise Profile

After 13 straight seasons of playoff baseball, New Britain spent 3 seasons rebuilding until returning to the playoffs in season 26. This last year, New Britain took a few small steps backwards and missed the playoffs despite 88 wins. New Britain is the tale of two halves. The pitching half is dominate giving up the 2nd fewest runs in the AL while on their other half (offense), suffered, scoring the 2nd fewest runs. If you are an offensive guru, this could be just the type of team you are looking for as their pitching will be very strong for many seasons to come.
