I'll join. No clones

in like flint. however, no clones. the season idea is interesting, but i hate leagues where the leader boards are all gretz, lemieux, and orr. it becomes predictable. and that was the whole point of draft leagues, to make it unpredictable and different.

just because someone drafts gretzky doesn't mean they're winning the league. more strategy involved when you eliminate clones.

my opinion. if we have clones, i may bow out.

Including (G) Terry Sawchuk, there's 52 total player
seasons in the Wi$-$iM database, that are above a
salary of $9 million dollars...

This allows 24 owners the opportunity 2 draft any
of those 52, guaranteed for the 1st 2+ rounds...

Am on a cell ph now, but intend 2 bolster such as
the contention of the mathematical possibility that
a $200m salary cap should afford all owners such
as the luxury to fill that cap with the BEST SKATERS
available, in the current database...

Eye will continue this, as the day goes on...

The leaderboard here will still be dominated by the
usual suspects of WGretz, B0rr, & MLemx, EITHER
WAY...

Including (G) TSawchuk, & ALL of the D'Men & the Fwd's,
there are 72 available seasons @ &9mil, or above...

This is obviously enuff 2 fill 3 full rounds of drafting with
nothing but high $$$ skaters, @ $9mil, or more...

Will continue 2 breakdown what it means 2 the reduction of
the high-cap player pool, --once a WGretz is draft'd, as well
as others such as MBossy's, & GLafleur's, & BTrottier's, etc.
as the day goes on...

Claiming that there is only 1 WGRETZKY, -- is simply
just not the case here @ Wi$..... In a high-cap league,
1 WGretzky draft'd eliminates 10 other Gretz seasons,
w/ salaries @ $7mil, or above...

However, since the 2 top-dollar Gretz's are the covet'd
1's, this would allow 9 other owners the chance 2 make
use of lesser Gretz's on other lines within their rosters...

As 4 myself, & a desire 2 place 2 teams here, eye am of
the mind that my monies in a high-cap league of $200m
doesn't translate well, if my roster can only have maybe
$145 million worth of skaters, if eye am lucky...

I would much prefer no clones as well.  

Then please accept my withdrawal, since no
reasonable accomodation can be made...

Your post on page 1 stated that U would also
consider it, along w/ other owners who were
sign'n up....

I'm in! The snake draft means that the team that picks first doesn't pick again until #48 so I think that helps to even the playing field. I like the no clones movement.

I may require a proxy from time to time but I will stay on top of it!
