I started on them today at work.  I have very limited time to work on them.  I sold my house on the 30th and don't have internet or computer out in the sticks where I live now.  I'm trying to put some effort into the evals.  If you are impatient, I can just give your team a rating of 1-5 stars like dh did last season.

Clifford Ray and Greg Anthony will come off the bench. looks like we should score a lot but were going to allow a lot of points also didnt really like picking at top of draft i had trouble getting good defense from guards that can also relieve pressure from kareem. im going closer to 24 next time

Maybe our teams wil be in the same division again nate??? If my team wins the title this season it will be your's and smokey's fault! I intentionally drafted more usage than I had been in recent drafts as I was  influenced by you two guys team's in the past that had done better than I had predicted. Not your team from last season that was a low usage creation that made a star out of Brent Barry.

DH for the record Dantley was the player I was looking at in the 2nd round. But no def34 is playing on my team...lol. No player on the sim makes me swear as much as Tmac, so I took him. Everytime I think about Deron Williams & Tmac I chuckle...
ahhh dantley....should have known...yea i think tmac is just a lil bit better haha

I'll run uptempo with ya dh, my team only needs 86fga to score 120pts. 95fga should put us right in the ballpark..lol.

Vance it would be fun to end up in the same division, although my team is not designed to shutdown Superman/Sabonis. I may experiment with starting Melo at the 4 and the partial Faried at the 3 against you in hopes that Melo's FGA/FTA ratio would generate some quick fouls against Howard. I'd welcome the challenge against you but my squad is set up to move Melo around to avoid the 90-100D guys. You have too many of those guys to avoid, but I'll be looking to exploit a matchup advantage against anyone who exposed themselves in either the front or back court.

So if a team has its top D guy at the 1-2 then Melo starts at the 3, and vice verse if a team has 90D down low and not in the backcourt then Melo will be at the 2. However, I'll also have to factor in where each team has their foul monsters and get Melo as close to them as possible if said foul monsters are also high usage guys.

With over 600 RL triples made it will be interesting to see who opts to go +2 or +3 against me. IMO that could backfire because I have elite orb guys in Drummond and Faried in addition to the Russell factor.

Even though Russell only has an orb% of 12.2 I have noticed something about the sim and the 40+mpg players. IMO the engine often throws an extra rebound or two in the direction of the guys that stay on the court the longest. Its almost like whenever the engine has a near tie to resolve from the advanced rebounding ratios between two opposing players that the higher minutes guy wins the battles as a default. Nothing in the FAQ about that I know, but I welcome everyone to help test that theory and move their guys out to a +3 setting to see how many orebs will be assigned to my guys.

I turned in my draft order. It was brutal to make any real decisions. I couldn't even pick bad teams. I wanted to pick good matchups and there aren't may of those.

I ended up doing the following:
I found 4 owners who usually don't perform well and 4 teams that I thought were not as good as others. I randomized those 8 for my top 8 picks.

Then I found 2 teams that I thought were decent matchups for me. They were ranked next.

Then I identified 3 owners who are always good and had good teams and ranked them randomly as the my last 3 picks. I then randomly ordered the remaining guys in between.

Why do you think the sim "throws extra rebounds" at Russell or high MPG player..compared to the much easier answer that 12.2 oreb for 44 minutes is a lot of orebs.

Is he getting more Rebs than the math suggests? I've used him twice here and his rate was pretty consistent. Just seems like a really far fetched way to interpret the sim.
