I don't think you have the worst team smokey, but I think it would be a decent matchup for me.

Sly IMO as I've said before the key is the RL FGA/FTA ratio. The sim engine produces something in the 4 to 1 range, RL ranges from crazy low of 1.5 for players like Superman to 8 or 9 to 1 for guys that never drove the lane in RL and are spot up bombers. Teams here generally bring something between 2.5 and 3.5 to 1 for their squads as a whole with most of us in the 2.8 to 3.2 to one range. Teams over 3 to 1 are usually near the bottom in FTA and teams at 2.5 or below will be the elite foul drawing FTA teams.

So taking a player like Danny Green really hurts you in the FTA battle from the foul drawing side of the equation. Take a look at the stats from the ODL that just concluded, the correlation between RL and sim ratios is very obvious. So while players like Green do a lot of great things that 8 to 1 or worse RL ratio really drags up your team average and cost you in the FTA/pf battle.

I didn't have an opportunity to address this today while at work. So just quickly- drawing fouls and earning trips to the line is good, but I'd rather have a guy shooting a FGA than a FTA., especially knowing most guys will over perform from the field and underperform from the line. I put zero emphasis on free throws when drafting and it has bode well for me up to this point.

ok...5.9%blk, 4.4%blk, 4.3%blk & 4.0%blk. By no means jacking blks, but they'll slap a few shots down and it's a constant presence.  Like the o-rbs, maybe not the very best but still quite strong and there @ the 4 & 5 spot for 48 min's.

Here's a fun stat..Williams, Dumars & Tmac play 8,937 min's and commit 453 pf's, thats 0.051 pf/min in my b/c. I don't know, maybe nate can tell us if that's low enough to make a difference. Fun smack talk aside, I'm looking to see if a low pf b/c and a f/c that takes care of cleaning the glass (damn the fouls) will create some advantage. the team should go about 17.5-18pf/g. I think a team efg% of 54% is pretty good. Average def is around 75. We may see ~18 o-rb/g. I don't have a ton 3ptr's, but 441 3ptm @ 40% will stop the bleeding I usually do from downtown. Usually owners get traction becuz I bleed 3ptr's and foul +20/gm and I'm a little low on efg%. This team doesn't have any of those problem. Now let see if sparky buy's in...lol.

Williams/ Dumars/ Tmac/ Dudley/ Wilt = 107% usage 
Williams/ Dumars/ Tmac/ Roundfield/ Wilt = 116% usage 
Williams/ Tmac/ McD/ Dudley/ Wilt = 118% usage
I think I'm ok on usage....McD will backup Tmac & Tmac will back up Dumars.

Sly, I give you a slight edge in the f/c, and me the b/c edge. But neither of us bring a dominant scoring f/c and I have Wilt....

And I have a 96/100/100 defense in the f/c...

And 86/80 in the b/c

And 800000 fouls :)

Agreed, that's a little high but just a little and that line-up will play ~20 min's. The bigger problem would be low usage penalty when Tmac (35%) leaves the floor, if I didn't have McD & Roundfields usage I be screw'd for 12 min's/gm. The 120% usage isn't kiss-o-death high...90% usage for 12 min's and your really screw'd. I've seen plenty enough '66' Wilt pooch's becuz of low usage, as soon as their high usage guy leaves the floor they go right into low usage penality. Think beast Rodman and your doing yourself a big favor with an 18.5% usage Wilt. Well..hopefully it will be a fun season, there's some interesting teams. Got to go eat....
