I was gone for 7 years so who can tell me the difference with strict rosters and relaxed. Can they only play their actual positions in strict? Thanks

Strict and relaxed rosters has to do with how many players must remain on your roster per position (forward/defense/goalie). In this league, it actually means nothing since the waiver wire is turned off, as are trades.
As far as playing out of position, a forward can play any position on forward lines with no penalty to his actual stats. Playing a defenseman in a forward position, or a forward on defense, will incur a penalty to their actual stats (the % of which is open for speculation).
