ELIMINATION CHALLENGE
This elimination challenge has two parts:
PART ONE:
You will be sending me bids on whether you want to have Catcher, Throwers, or Hitters as the category you will be responsible for in this challenge. You can bid as much or as little as you want up to 500 points, but the winning bid will be subtracted from your overall final score.
In the case of tied bids, we will go by order received.
Each person will have a different category, so if you highest bid is topped by someone else, I'll move on to your 2nd choice if no one else has a higher bid.
PART TWO:
Once you find out which category you won, you will need to pick 10 players(from either MLB or NFL Monday night games) for your entry, with no more than 7 per players from one sport (ie, you can't have 10 pitchers for the thrower category).
Couple of notes:
-Only MLB games starting at or after 7pm Monday are eligible
-Points for MLB will be based on where they started the game
-Total tackles for NFL, not just solo
-For throwers, only passing TDs count
-For catchers, you can pick RBs, TEs, or WRs, but obviously on receiving stats will count
-For hitters, if you get a half sack, you get half the amount of points
Catchers:
Football points:
Receptions: 15 points each
Receiving Yards: 3 point each
Baseball points:
Outfielders: Putouts: 75 points each
Infielders: Putouts: 40 points each
Throwers:
Football points:
Passing TDs: 25 points each
Passing Yards: 1 point each
Baseball points:
Outfielders: Assists: 350 points each
Infielders: Assists: 125 pionts each
Pitchers: Strikeouts: 50 points each
Hitters
Football points:
Tackles: 35 points each
Sacks: 225 points each
Baseball points:
Home Run: 250 points each
Triple: 350 points each
Double: 200 points each
Single: 100 points each
RBI: 100 points each
Lowest point total is eliminated
Tiebreakers:
1) Total points scored in the NYG/DET NFL game
2) Total rushing yards in the SD/ARI NFL game
Deadlines:
Part one is due by 2pm on Sunday
Part two is due by 7pm on Monday
