Thanks, ryno. And to be honest, I was a little bummed that you picked George Brett; made me torn between Burkett's bat or having SS covered by Appling.

1885 Tim Keefe - P    - New England
Not an easy choice. But I'm hoping for 200 win career, mostly from his first 6 seasons.
And since he's 107 years older than Bonds - I'm hoping he provides some grandfatherly advice to Barry.
Like the advantages of chewing tobacco to deal with the competitive stress of MLB season.
If Sir Timothy can help keep Barry out of trouble - I can just imagine the success we should have

#2 Pick from Atlantic Coast - Jimmy Foxx 1927
7/9/2014 4:36 PM
I will update in a little while everyone.

And happy birthday cardsfan ! Hope you had as good a day as I did. Finally found great Chinese food here in northern Italy, among other things.

Yes, these choices are fun aren't they? I couldn't pass up Yogi, a great catcher. But again gave up great pitching. Next pick I probably need a pitcher. But if there is a superstar ?

Come to think of it - Sisler went before Cy Young in Ohio? Interesting. Welcome crazyamos, Ted Williams is a great first choice. You have one more coming up today as that was a missed pick from yesterday by your predecessor.
