So, to balance out the numbers, Nomar would have to (roughly) hit for .240/.300/.420 and about 100 OPS+ over 4000 ABs (or six full replacement value seasons) to match Beltre's output, and he would have a BETTER CASE to make the HOF?!?!

You don't think so?  You don't think a guy who can play SS, or even 2B or 3B, and put up a 100 OPS+ is still valuable and adding quite a bit of positive value to his resume?

Yes and no.

Yes, Nomar would have a really great HOF case if he had put together another 4000+ PA at 100 OPS+ while playing SS.

No, 100 OPS+ is not replacement value. League average is significantly more valuable than replacement level.
