The Houston franchise in the world Earth has been tanking for about four seasons now.

They've lost well over 100 games every season, and they routinely set their player payroll budget as low as it will go. This season, they had the #1 pick for the third year in a row, and they didn't even try to sign they guy they took. I'm not sure their owner is even bothering to log in anymore. Not only that, but they showed their private trade chat messages to the whole world, which I'm pretty sure is against the Fair Play guidelines.

Is it just me, or is this team an alias?
If not, Can we kick them out of the world for tanking?

Is this a public or private league? Private leagues can have rules that owners must adhere to, such as minimum win requirements. This doesn't mean WIS will automatically remove them, but it helps. Also, if the owner has not logged in for a long period of time or if he is starting 0 FAT pitchers you can request that he be removed for a replacement.

I think it's a private league. No new franchises have joined in the last 15 seasons.

I sent a site mail to world commissioner budselig to see if we can boot them.

It's only tanking if it's a deliberate strategy to get high round draft picks. I thought it might be an alias, and they were using this franchise to feed their "real" team, but then the sharing their trade strategy with the whole league makes no sense. I think maybe they just suck. I doubt you'll see any changes. The commisioners team sucked almost as bad for a long time and no one in the league said anything.

Uhh, I tried to look up this "Earth" world, and I just couldn't find it...  Where could it be?!?

Update: nobody kicked the Houston franchise out, and their tanking paid off. They just won the World Series.

I wonder what they'll spend their reward points on?
