I did send proxy to three owners!

I don't see how that works... Especially from the guy that takes forever plus did not follow the multiple site mail request. I will stay with AP but I don't think it is fair.

I definitely sympathize with your position.

Proxies should not only be sent to the commish when it's well known through these draft forums that he is usually asleep during the late morning/early afternoon hours. Hell, he's got to sleep sometime!

bevo, again I am sorry how things went down, but if you are talking "fair", it wouldn't be fair to tonyvoss if I did not allow him the Bills O-line.  He DID send a proxy list that is time stamped and verifiiable at 9:56 am--well before his scheduled draft time.  If I never slept and was here to get the sitemail, tony would have had the Bills and you would have had Peterson.  So really, the "fair thing" happened.  It just didn't happen the normal way. 

Granted, he only sent it to me, but the "multiple owners proxy list" is not a RULE.  It is a request, simply to avoid just this thing happening.  Now, perhaps we SHOULD make it a rule, to avoid this in the future.  That should probably be the discussion, but as for what happened here, no one did anything "wrong" (other than me going to bed at 7 am and sleeping til 3).

Again, I apologize and wish you the best with Adrian Peterson..

I am not mad. I just think that when a pick goes in it is kind of set in stone. For example there is no rule that just because you proxy you get your pick. What matters is that your pick goes in on time and per rules. Mine did and Tonys did not. I believe the reason you asked people to send their pick to 3 people was so they did not get skipped over... See what I am saying... Why give your pick to 3 people if sending it to you locks it in. The point is like the real NFL is getting your pick in. I realize I am arguing and have already agreed to stay with AP but I still believe fair would have been pushing Tonys pick.

I was was in Alaska and an earthquake took out cell data and I still checked in to make sure I was not passed over. If all I had to do was send you a top down list then why bother checking in every 15?

I am actually glad this happened because it gives me motivation to kick the holy crap out of everyone in this league with AP driving the bus ;-)
