If "uppity" means "breaking the law by looting", yeah, you're pretty much dead on.   I'm sure there are some whiteys looting too.   They can have a bullet to the brain too.

That is fine to kill looters, Mike, however they should bar the Ferguson and St. Louis County police from doing it.  Let the staties or the National Guard do it instead.

That's fine.   Perhaps the police there are murdering *********** with no interest in upholding the law.    Don't know why that should lead to rampant looting.   The two issues seem unrelated.

I don't think anyone is condoning the looting.

I do find it odd that so many in the media are more upset about the looting than Brown's death, though.

Indeed.  I find Brown's death horrific.  That is why I didn't even mention the looting.

There should be some.  To me there is a problem with the most of the Ferguson police force for multiple infractions in multiple days.
