I'm not so sure about this team... wanted to try out making a team really focused on rebounding.
After I made my first two picks and was messing around with their salaries, I figured trading up into the second round for Camby made sense so that I could have a guy that can defend PF or C leaving me open to draft a lower defense high rebound guy. His ast was a bonus too. I had originally targeted Nater, Murphy, or Humphries to go with him but had to settle for Asik. Kinda a poor mans Nater, not a big drop off really. Was happy Anderson dropped to me in the 6th, I've been reading through previous ODL drafts to get an idea of what players draft values are and it seems like his one low minute season is drafted a lot as a back up. I like how his shooting and oreb compliment the backcourt.

Meh - not sure about my team either.  It does have, I think, great efg% for a 47 mil team (at least it's higher than my 47 mil teams usually are). Plus it's a very good free throw shooting team: all starters at least 77%, and the guys who take the most (Harden and KG) are both over 80%. Defense is OK, but not great; undrafted players will mostly be in the 40s and 50s. Assists are OK, rebounds are definitely on the low side.

May is Garnett's backup; Smith is Worthy's. Didn't really end up with team makeup conducive to getting a higher-minute backup that would play multiple positions, so basically everyone has an individual backup.

I think it's a solid team, but maybe not spectacular. Hopefully I won't need to have better offensive rebounding if I make enough shots, and I should make plenty. We'll see.

curious how often the final round of  #6/#7 picks affects bench strategies .
or is just me that is wondering whether certain players won't be drafted

its an ok team ....I hope. Would like my efg % to be higher but have a very deep bench so I can live with the trade-off. Unless my team is terrible in which case it was a bad idea. And I have a gigantic amount of 3's so if the Sim will shoot them that should be good.

My defense is going tobe fun- half my guys are 80+ and half are 50-. I will play Love at the 5, which may be asking for it, and double team everybody at PG and C so my terrible defenders will get help from my good ones. In theory.

Reggie Miller 93-94
Chris Mullin 89-90
Dennis Rodman 91-92
Carlos Boozer 10-11
Mark Eaton 83-84
Manute Bol 89-90

This was BY FAR the most difficult team I've ever had to set up. Several times I wanted to throw my I-Pad across the room, and curse Mikee1 for letting me hang myself with only two picks in the first for rounds... However, considering that I drafted one player early in the 5th, and four late in the sixth I think it came out as well as it could have.

I really wanted to use different seasons for both Boozer and Eaton, but there was no way I could fit them in the cap while utilizing the 89-90 season for Mullin which was needed to take some pressure of LBJ. With this being the case I dug deep to bring Reggie Miller into the fold for more much needed offense. Miller doesn't bring much outside of points, but this his 50/40/90 year, he does do it very well. The two headed defensive/blocking machine of Eaton and Bol at the 5, along with the Worm at the 3 will help hide Boozer's defensive short comings while manning the PF position. Obviously this means King James will be running the point, thus creating one of the biggest mismatches in the sim on a nightly basis.
