Options 2, 4 and 5 cannot finish higher than 3rd, so they are eliminated from consideration. That leaves us with two proposals to decide between: Please post your vote here in this thread.
The proposals:
1. Limit pre-rule 5 successful waiver claims to "X". NOTE: If you vote for this proposal, please state the number you would set this limit at.
2. Pre-rule 5 waiver claims are banned, with a requirement that any players with a long-term contract with years remaining beyond the current season shall not be waived until the last day of free agency.
3. Leave the rules exactly as they are right now.
4. Limit pre-rule 5 waiver claims to "X", and ban the rule 5 draft.
5. All teams must bring their 40 man rosters to 20 by the start of free agency.
